Yen Tu was famous for its sacredness, found by ancient King Tran Nhan Tong since 12th century. Whenever the spring comes, thousand tourists have come to this holly land from many places to pray for their family a peaceful & lucky year.
Itinerary
06h00: The driver & tour guide pick you up at appointment to drive to Yen Tu Pagoda. Stop for a while at Sao Do town (Hai Duong province) to have a short break to regain energy.
08h30: Arrival at Yen Tu pagoda complex. Take the cable cabin to get on Hoa Yen pagoda (other names: Grand Pagoda, Phu Van pagoda, Van Yen pagoda) at the high of 543 meters. On the way up, there are thousand spruces, planted since King Tran Nhan Tong came here to pray at Yen Tu Pagoda. Hoa Yen pagoda is also the first destination of Yen Tu pagoda complex, where you pray, ask for your relatives health, luck and peace.
11h00: Have lunch at local restaurant with specialties of Eastern North of Vietnam.
12h00: Continue to visit Dong Pagoda (Bronze Pagoda), at the high of 1.068 meters of Van Tuong Top Mountain. Inflame incense at An Ky Sinh Statue to pray for your beloved people.
15h15: Back to Hoa Yen Pagoda, on the way back, visit and inflame incense at Bao Sai Temple and Mot Mai Temple.
16h30: The driver & bus welcome you again and drive you back to Ha Noi.
19h30: Arrival in Ha Noi. Drop you off at appointment. Tour ends.
